The last time I wrote in this was on September 16. It has been far too long. Since I wrote that last post I have finished my second term at Yunnan Normal, had my parents visit, gone to Lijiang, travelled in Thailand for a couple weeks, started my third term of Chinese, celebrated holidays (Halloween, friend’s birthdays and Thanksgiving), hiked the Tiger Leaping Gorge and begun to think about returning home, which I will do in a little over two weeks. I have been slacking on my duties here.

I have started the process of uploading photos from my memorable trip in Thailand to my Flickr page, but as of now have not finished.

Kunming is cold and beautiful. Autumn is a lovely time here. The city is changing before my eyes as buildings get torn down and built throught my neighborhood. My life on the other hand has hit a routine and calm comfortable rhythm, which partially explains why I haen’t written in this.

I will hopefully write some more in this soon but for now here is a photo from my trip to Bangkok.
