I was never happy with what happened to this blog after I returned from China in December 2006. Without the ceaseless wonder of China and with a college schedule that made studying at Yunnan Normal University seem like a vacation my motivation to write for the blog vanished. My apologies.
Luckily for you and me I am headed back to China this summer. I will say more on the specifics later, but basically I will be a (volunteer) public school English teacher somewhere in the hot ‘n humid province of Hunan. I can’t wait to once again live in China, not as a student but as a hard-working member of Chinese society.
